Dr. Samuel Achilefu is a Scientist and medical researcher who had pioneered both fundamental and applies research in Science, engineering, and medicine. He is the Michel M. Ter-pogossian professor of Radiology and Vice Chair for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Samuel Achilefu, Nigerian radiologist who invented a high-tech infrared goggles( Cancer Vision goggles) which will enable surgeons to see cancer cells during surgery.
The goggle ensure that no stray tumor which glow blue when viewed through the eyewear are left behind.
