Reno Omokiri; “I was mistaken for Kanu Nwankwo”

 

Us-based Nigerian author and TV presenter Reno Omokiri shared incredibly amazing news about his early adult life that appears funny compared to his current personality 

On his various social media platforms, the 46yrs lawyer described the experience he got while he resided in England as a young man. Criticizing the Nigerian system as usual, he shared how drunk British Arsenal fans who felt he was Kanu Nwankwo showered him with money and drinks after Arsenal won a game in 2003. Describing the experience he explained;

“Thank God I lived in England as a young man. If I had been living in Nigeria with my cornrows, it is me EFCC and SARS would have probed, rather than Bola Tinubu and his bullion vans!”

He continued; “I had to stop braiding my hair after Arsenal won a game in 2003 and drunk British fans saw me and began giving me money and bought drinks for me. They thought I was Kanu Nwankwo. And then I thought to myself, what if Arsenal had lost?

They would have given me the beating of a lifetime. The next day, I loosened my hair!”

Nigerian renowned clergy man Bishop David Oyedepo, President Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners Chapel recently joined in the holy matrimony of his last daughter and child Joyce Priscilla Oyedepo.

Joyce Priscilla Oyedepo who recently turned 28, got married to Abimbola Abodunrin on Saturday at Covenant Unviversity Chapel, Ogun State. 

Prior to the above day, a traditional ceremony was held which turns out to the same day Bishop & Mrs Oyedepo turned exactly 38years in marriage. With feelings of fulfillment, the Presiding Bishop used this solemn occasion to renew his love vows to his wife and long time partner, Pastor Faith Oyedepo.

With more than +500k views on YouTube, the lead-single title “Abule” which comes from a ghetto neighborhood in Lagos “Abule Egba” speaks of love, fun, party and youthful challenge in the ghetto (Abule Egba). It is more likely that Abule virtually served its purpose as it has increased attention & anticipation for the upcoming album. It’s anticipation prompted many to wonder and ask questions like who will be featured in the album? What song will be on the album? How many songs will be on the album? and lots more.

Amidst the pandemic, award winning pop-star Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Rhode Bieber has made incredible steps towards saving their souls as they confess “their love and trust in Jesus”.

The Canadian Singer & Songwriter showed his love and trust in Jesus as he walked into the waters of baptism with his American model Wife, Hailey Rhode Bieber. After embarking on a long bus trip for this religious rite, the “yummy” singer said this was one of the special moments he shared with his wife. On Wednesday 5th August, he shared adorable photos of their baptism and   said;

“The moment my wife and I got baptized together! This was one of the most special moments of my life. Confessing our love and trust in Jesus publicly with our friends and family”.

Earlier this year, Bieber spoke about being spiritually guided in his relationship with his wife and how he desires to enjoy family life; he stated;

"I want to start my own family in due time, I want to enjoy being married for a little bit, go on tour, be married, enjoy traveling with just us, build more of our relationship. I think that it's definitely the next step, for sure.”
