The HushPuppi alleged fraud case has created a negative impact in the minds of United Arab Emirates employers which is now serving as an economical stumbling block for Nigerians who reside in Dubai and world wide.

Raymond Abbas also known as HushPuppi and his friends were arrested weeks ago for diverting over $100 million that was supposed to go to unemployed Americans during the corona virus pandemic, and the FBI and Interpol who conducted a search in their Gucci Mansion, found items that imply fraudulent act.

After his arrest, Companies and firms in Dubai have openly excluded & discriminated Nigerian applicant from job vacancies. This is beginning to have adverse effect on Nigerians residing in UAE as many are employees.

Besides, the UAE authorities have also barred Nigerians from applying for tourist visa which is another discriminating step taken.
